About Niall Young Architecture
The company was formed by director Niall Young. Niall Studied Architecture at Edinburgh College of Art graduating in 1994 and completing the post graduate Diploma in 1995. He became a Chartered Architect in 1996 after completing part III examination whilst at Comprehensive Design. Moving to Michael Laird Partnership in 1997, Niall worked as package Architect for new Younger Building for the Royal Bank of Scotland, and as project Architect for the refurbishment of Ethicon’s Head Office at Livingston.
Niall joined EMA in 1999 and worked as Associate Director on Industrial/ Office developments and city centre flatted housing developments for National Housebuilders such as Persimmon Homes and Barratt East.
In 2004 Niall formed Niall Young Architecture Ltd. With an office located near to the City Bypass the company continues to grow and undertake new and exciting projects in a number of different sectors across the Central Region, Lothians and Borders for a wide range of clients.
We are a member of the Royal Incorporation of Architects in Scotland and are ARB and Constructionline registered. We also hold appropriate Professional Indemnity insurance cover.
